Shannel is so gorgeous, and this photo shoot was so fun! I am so glad I could post these photos! Shannel did her make-up and hair, and I barely had to tell her anything for poses. Seriously, she is amazing. I had a hard time picking just these few photos. So, check out more in my facebook album here!

application/transformation

I'm back! With a brand new computer and a 24 inch monitor, I am up and running again! Some things will still be slow in getting to as I am gone a bunch, but I wanted to post something!

And what else to a perfect segway back into the photography that I love by posting photos from part 2 of my shoot with Shannel back in June! Still so amazing that she did this with a handheld mirror on a beach at a ridiculous hour of the morning! Enjoy! Watch for more posts soon!

Summer dawn; part one: "Early Morning Chair Sitting"

The water felt a bit chilly getting in at 5:30 in the morning on Lake Minnetonka. But, me, as the photographer was not even the one who got completely soaked. Shannel, my amazing friend, and fantastic model was the one who was so wonderful to get up so crazy early, looking gorgeous and everything. Shannel did all of her own make-up and helped make this shoot even possible with her brilliant artistic bent and ideas of her own. Seriously, so amazing. My friend Shannel is the model in these photos. I have started designing photo shoots with friends in mind. This particular one did change from some of my original intent in that the sky was cloudy, but I love this end result! You can see more photos in my facebook album.

Every time I do a photo shoot... I remember how much I love it. This. THIS is what I love. Be prepared to see many more photos this summer!
